The vast majority of these HDTV unit sales will be to these markets. The only current way to receive true HDTV resolution (1080i) is with an Off-Air antenna or satellite broadcast signals. Operation in the Light Green thru Blue Reception zones will absolutely require Clear Line of Sight with Broadcast Stations and may also require use of a Pre-amplifier.When I first heard of a Flat Panel TV antenna like this one from my wife, I thought she heard things all screwy like she normally does with Technology topics and told her "No Way!" Well, I was wrong... It is, and it works. The Factory has rated the CEA color code a little higher in their spec.s, but I don't think they took into consideration that more times than not, this antenna will not be located on the highest point of the roof or house, but rather, be located where it is convenient, or hidden from view. It favors the color and decor of the Winegard and DirecTV Dish mounts that everybody has, so it blends in real well. Matter of fact, it comes with hardware that can piggy-back it onto your existing Dish mount. Some folks that have Condo or HOA's to keep at bay like this antenna, as it blends in with the exterior of the premise where it's mounted and really doesn't look like an Antenna. If you can mount it higher, the better reception you will get. Even Attic installation will be preferable than hiding it behind stuff on the ground floor. You can install an amplifier for this antenna if you find out you need one after you install it. It's an easy fix.When you find products like these, you have to carry and promote them. Matter of Fact, Most, if not All of the Winegards are Made in the USA. Remember that!
