Unite and Untie: Call For Participation

Houston Center for Photography (HCP) presents Unite and Untie February 27 - March 29, 2009, a group exhibition about conflict in the Middle East and its ripple effects throughout the world. We invite the fine men and women serving in the US Armed Forces to share your view of what it is like in the Middle East. Share with the US community your daily life abroad, including how you spend your time off duty, with your friends and views of your surroundings.

We request your participation in this exhibition. All digital images you send to us will be shown on a flat screen monitor in the HCP galleries as part of the Unite and Untie exhibition. This is not a juried exhibition; all images suitable for all viewing ages will be included in the exhibition.

To be included in the exhibition, please upload your images to www.flickr.com: username (Yahoo ID): hcp1441 password: photography or you can email them to intern@hcponline.org. In addition, please send us your name if you’d like to receive credit, date, time, and place; along with a caption if you so desire. Images taken from personal cell phones and or digital cameras are welcome.

Image requirements: TIFF or JPEG, 150-350 dpi, 1200x1600 average size. If you do not know the size of your image and would like to participate, please send it to us and we can resize it.
