I have two rooms for rent after the completion of a remodel. (Feb. 1). They are both on the second floor. The house is an 19th century farmhouse, from when the surrounding land was pear orchards.

The house is on a corner lot, and has a big, fenced yard with a small, outdoor, fireplace and a hot tub. Both rooms have big windows with decent views. (The picture is a before shot, with the old, beat up aluminum siding and porch railing, and the dying tree is cut down.)

The upgrades that are being completed include:

*New, energy star rated, windows-gas furnace-insulation in walls/ floor/attic.

*Granite tiled kitchen countertops, new, solid wood cabinets, new dishwasher-fridge-gas stove-microwave hood

*Laundry area with high efficiency washer

*New gas water heater

I'm looking for a person or two to help out with the mortgage and split up the utilities, as well as keep this big place from being too quiet.

Every few weekends I might have a few people over for movies in the backyard (we throw old B-movies onto the projector on the side of the house). Not too big on huge keggers at the place I live, though.

Lucky is also an occupant. He is a rescued dog from the humane society. He is around 9 years old, sheds a bit, but is very sweet and well trained.

Rent is 350 for the smaller room, and 400 for the larger one. Both are furnished. The utilities are split.
