Our Client, a Fortune 500 Company, is looking for the right candidate, who will help with the transition of their international data centers in Japan to a new location in Newark, New Jersey. The current international environments run independent infrastructures and networks and as a result of these projects, they will be integrated and relocated to the new data center.Primary responsibilities would include development, testing, maintenance and installation support for the following environments:• Hardware:o IBM and SUN mid-range platformso SAN Storage (IBM & HDS)• Software: Unix, and Linux operating system and related technologies.Other responsibilities would include system automation, networking and customer support for the suite of products that make up the environment. The ideal candidate should have the significant working experience in the required technical areas and be highly motivated and have excellent communication skills.Travel to Japan may or may not be required (expenses will be covered)They are looking for the following skills:• Bilingual – Fluent with English and Japanese (preferably Level 1 language proficiency certification)• Minimum 2-5 years expertise in:o Solaris 9 administrationo Veritas Volume & filesystem managemento AIX system administrationo Network and storage connectivity virtualization (VIO)o Logical volume managementIf you think this describes you, and you are proficient in reading, writing and speaking Japanese, please complete this short questionnaire, which includes a short skills assessment for the job in question.
