I have a 12-13 year old standardbred mare for sale. She is about 15.5-16 hands high and is an absolute sweethart. She is very stout too.She is a retired race horse so I know she is very fast. She is halter broke, good with the farrier, loves baths and to be brushed. She is saddle broke but hasn't been ridden in a while. She can be stubborn when ridden because she was spoiled and wants to get her way. She just needs a refresher course and she should be fine. Her only problem is that you cannot get her to take a bit. She is good wih horses and other animals. Never offers to kick but she does like to lick you on the neck if you bend over in front of her. She is bay with a black mane and tail and stockings. She is a good horse. She does need an experienced ridder who has a firm hand. I am asking $500 but this is negotiable to the right home. If you are interested in her please email me. Thanks!!!
