Smudge is a 4 year old black cat who needs a new home. He would be better off with a single woman. When his (human) daddy was laid off from work and was home a lot more, Smudge took a disliking to him and started scratching him. We had Smudge declawed, (front claws), to try to save his relationship w/daddy, but then Smudge started biting daddy. We think he was used to being king of the castle when dad was not home during the day & was probably being territorial. He also would occasionally attack if he was spooked by something outside. We love Smudge very much and do not want to part with him, but think it would be best for him & us, because we also just had a new baby & now Smudge has been living in the garage. We think he would probably like to live with a single woman who would give him the love he needs. We don't know how he would do with other cats. He has no problems with his current (human)mommy or sister. He's very affectionate with them. He is also neutered and litter box trained. Please help our little Smudgie find a loving home! Thank you.
