As of now, my husband and I are paying $1000 for a 3 bedroom one story house. We are planning to have approximately $10,000 saved up for a down payment for a new house that we would like to rent to own. Renting is pointless because we have no equity or anything else of that nature. Our ideal house would be two stories, in the Wilmington area, with a very nice kitchen ( I cook a lot), at least 3 bedrooms, and a nice fenced in yard (if possible, not mandatory).
