Internship Description:

Earn valuable music industry experience by working part time as a member of the Ground Crew (www.rsgroundcrew.com), a field marketing internship position for the music sales and market company, Rocket Science (www.myrocketscience.com). As an intern, you will be responsible for:

Creating and implementing marketing and awareness campaigns for a number of Rocket Science artists on your campus and surrounding city through the use of tools both provided by the label and created on your own.

Working with on-campus activity committees and clubs, along with local lifestyle shops and record stores, in order to set up promotions and gain visibility for our artists.

Being the information source for raising awareness and interest at retail locations and your surrounding college campuses.

While on the job, you will receive a $250/month stipend, have the opportunity to earn college credit, and receive perks such as concerts tickets and CDs -- all while getting an inside look at what is involved in marketing music. Moreover, you will gain invaluable experience working in the independent sector of the music industry.

Internship Requirements:

Passion for music.

Work availability of 10 to 20 hours a week.

Strong communication and people skills.

Excellent marketing skills.

Reliable transportation.

Internet Access.
