I am teacher qualified and have taught in a daycare setting as well as worked in the infant room. I have 12 Early Childhood Education Units and I am Pediatric First Aid and CPR certified. I had my TB test and physical last Feb and passed successfully. I am lifescanned, which means I am fingerprinted in the Police files and any employer can register themselves with me and will be notified if anything occurs criminally. About Me I am a 26 year old married mother to my first child, an 8 1/2 month old beautiful boy. I want to stay home to raise my son to help him develop in the way that he needs. I have been married for three years come November. My husband works for an electrical company installing electrical components commercially for construction sites. We love the outdoors, hiking, biking, swimming, snowboarding, mud wheeling. I also love ride horses. On my free time I love to take photos. I am of German decent, 1st generation and am also Bi-lingual in German. I have been speaking a little to my son. What I am looking for I would love to find a child in the same age range because they are at the age of Parallel play where both child play in their own niche but are aware there's another there. It is a good time to implement social interaction. I stated newborn to ten months because even though a newborn does not play yet it is good for familiarity for both of the children. I enjoy newborns as well. I love children, and I was raised with the concept to earn money in something my heart is in. That is why considering me to be a caretaker would benefit your child. I am not a sitter. I will not just sit your child in front of the tube. I am also looking for involved parents that are not frightened to tell me, hey it has been stressful at home so Sarah might behave a little differently. My Services The care will be provided at my home of which is located in a quiet park-like setting. I will chart your child for diaper changes, feedings, naps and meds if needed. I will write down any accomplishments, note worthy highlights for the parents and I will keep them in a folder for guardian to take home. It is tough to go to work when you want to stay home with your child and watch his/er developments so I will try my best to make it not only as eas for yur child but also for you as I can. I do not provide diapers and food. I have another bed, and tons of developmental toys if you approve, I will wash your supplies...i.e. bottles, cups, spoons, containers for you to bring home clean. Wages Because I enjoy what I do I will work with you on wages. Every situation differs and so to place a direct quote would be ignorant of me. I will work with your budget. I typically charge around $150-$200 full time a week depending on the demands of the child and the days and times needed. I am flexible on times from as early as you would like to work out to overnighting. I know that most are charging $10 an hour and I feel that is impossible for a working parent when the minimum wage is $8/hour There's no point to working if all the money goes to daycare. Why me? A daycare is filled with children and open to several communicable colds - viruses so you will have to come and pick your child up and that could be more often that desired. The risk is lower with me, I keep everything sanitized. I love what I do. Enough said with that. I am educated. I am trained.
