I have been a professional drummer, playing locally in a number of clubs throughout

Michigan for the last 30 years.

I have also been teaching for the last 25 years at a number of Music Stores and Schools in

the Detroit Area including teaching in my Home Drum Studio. I have worked with hundreds of

students over the years.

* I work with Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced Levels of playing

* I teach Snare Drum, Percussion and Drum Set Technique through reading / books and ear training

* I work with multi styles of music including

Alternative, Rock, Metal, Funk, Country, Jazz, Classical & Marching

* I teach Snare Drum Rudimental Techniques

* Work on developing and strengthening time with a Metronome

* Develop ear training through various techniques including CD's

* I also play along with my students on a second drum set to develop style and technique through example

I believe all these are important qualities for a drummer to become a strong, confident

and solid player.
