Features & Description
This crome covered ashtray is a Bernodette and Bjorn Design. It is probably from the 1940's. It is the round type that you push down on the raised center and it spins the cigarette into the bottom. It is a contained ashtray so that cigarettes and ashes did not end up on the floor. These type of ashtrays were used in restaurants and hotels. They would sit on stands. They are hard to find these days. I bought it years ago in an antique shop.
