I'm am looking for a full time job in an administrative assistant position. Need to take home 25k per year minimum. Can e-mail my resume but have lots of experience in everything from payroll, financial, book keeping, data entry and the list goes on. I am becoming a single mom and am running out of time in this hard economic time to find something. Below is my cover letter:

I respectfully request that you consider me as an applicant for your current position. I am eager for an opportunity to return to the work force after staying home with my children the last 6 years. This is an exciting prospect which would allow me to expand myself professionally.

I have shown an excellent ability to concurrently manage busy offices, while meeting rigorous performance standards and demanding schedules. I also have strong leadership talents, a ‘team player’ attitude and spirit, and a natural ability to establish consensus among cross-functional lines. At the same time, I have proven my multi-tasking capabilities with a strong ability to plan, prioritize, and manage complex projects.

A major strength that I would bring to your organization is my successful experience as an administrative assistant. With strong communication, organizational and management skills, I am confident that I can be a valuable asset to you. I feel that my background in administration, along with my ability to assimilate new ideas and concepts, as well as my demonstrated dedication would be of great benefit to you as well.
