Three times a year, Love Brigade offers internships to chosen applicants in the following areas: * fashion design * graphic design * fashion merchandisingThese positions (detailed below), undergo specialized programs which offer real-world experience while ensuring proper training for the industry. Resumes/portfolios/cover letters may be submitted to hr@lovebrigade.com.Love Brigade requires the following of our applicants for this specific position:1. Powerful portfolio2. Intuitive style, fashionable at all times (you will meet with clients and vendors!)3. Well spoken and written4. Energetic with a willingness to do whatever it takes5. Ambition & timeliness6. The vision of being the support and foundation of a strong and very busy team7. Illustrator and patternmaking experience8. The realization that wearing comfortable shoes are a necessity - many errands come with this position!9. Minimum of 15 hours per week, for a six month term to witness the full fashion cycle. This includes a mandatory 10am-1pm meeting on Tuesdays with the remaining hours spread throughout the rest of the week. We can work around your schedule for the rest of the week, especially if you are in school.10. A fairly flexible after-hours schedule to take part in LB activities and showsAny of the following qualities are a plus, but are not required:1. CAD experience2. Photoshop skills3. Formal fashion training in Europe (UK or Italy)4. Photography and styling experience (for assistance purposes)5. Knowledge of midtown/fabric shops/suppliers6. Online data entry, design, or programming (Dreamweaver, php store, etc)7. Accessory design experience or training8. Graphic design experience or training------------------------------------------------------------------------------Position LB.NP.180.CI: CREATIVE INTERN (GRAPHICS INTERN) -position closedThis position is mentored by our Branding Director and Creative Director on all facets of graphic design as it pertains to fashion, music, marketing, and advertising, and a bit of everything else. You will also work on materials and multi-media for our Fashion Week show. Resumes/portfolios/cover letters may be submitted to hr@lovebrigade.com.Love Brigade requires the following of our applicants for this position:1. Powerful portfolio2. Intuitive style, fashionable at all times (you will meet with clients and vendors!)3. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign4. Energetic with a willingness to do whatever it takes5. Ambition & timeliness6. SELF STARTER – have your own ideas!7. Ability to possibly travel for tradeshows, both Domestic and Internationally (Passport required)8. Minimum of 10 hours per week, for a six month term to witness the full fashion cycle. This includes a mandatory 10am-1pm meeting on Tuesdays with the remaining hours spread throughout the rest of the week. We can work around your schedule for the rest of the week, especially if you are in school.9. A fairly flexible after-hours schedule to take part in LB activities and shows.Any of the following qualities are a plus, but are not required:1. Dreamweaver experience2. Aftereffects experience3. HTML savvy4. PHP coding experience5. Marketing and/or PR experience------------------------------------------------------------------------------Position LB.NP.180.MCI: MERCHANDISING INTERNThis position is mentored by our Retail Manager on all facets of fashion business, sales, marketing, PR, merchandising, and also witnesses a bit of everything else. You will also be corresponding with our marketing office. We also host and sponsor a ton of events and parties, which you will be working on as well. Marketing, Merchandising, PR, sales or advertising experience/education or display experience2. Intuitive style, fashionable at all times (you will meet with clients and vendors!)3. Well spoken and written4. Excellent organizational skills5. Ambition & timeliness6. Ready-equipped with a keen sense of off-kilter marketing7. HTML savvy (you must be able to use Dreamweaver or at least know code)8. A general knowledge of the fashion industry9. SELF STARTER – have your own ideas and be able to manage yourself on a few projects!10. Minimum of 25 hours per week, for a six month term to witness the full fashion cycle. This includes a mandatory 10am-1pm meeting on Tuesdays with the remaining hours spread throughout the rest of the week. We can work around your schedule for the rest of the week, especially if you are in school.11. A fairly flexible after-hours schedule to take part in LB activities and shows.Any of the following qualities are a plus, but are not required:1. Previous experience dealing directly with media, press, and buyers2. Party and Event planning3. A base knowledge of Love Brigade's current and previous marketing strategies and campaigns (Google us)4. PR experience5. Print Vendor, Showroom, and Media relationships6. History in sales7.
