I have a room that will be available beginning of Feb 09, (Closet 2x5 Room 8x9) and another one beginning of Mar 09 (Closet 2x5 Room 12x12). Both roommates are in the Air Force and will be departing to new duty stations. Rent is $400 for the bigger room and $300 for the other one.

House is located where 1604 meets 90. East of 90 with 410 & Marbach @ 7 mins away, downtown at 15 mins away, Medical Center another 15 mins away.

Colleges around the area; NW Vista 5 mins away, St, Mary's 10 mins, Our Lady of The Lake somewhere around the area, UTSA 20 mins away, and the ones in downtown 15 mins away

Military bases; Lackland at 5 mins away, Ft. Sam Houston at 20 mins away, Camp Bullis-far....

Nearby Attractions; Sea World, Six Flags, San Antonio Missions, and Lackland Airforce Base.

About the house; I try to keep it as green and energy efficient as possible. The house and appliances are certified energy efficient by Energy Star. I've equipped the house with a water filtration system, so you'll be drinking, showering, doing laundry in 100% purified water (NO TX HARDWATER). Front side loading washer and dryer. AC unit is digital so when no one is home it's not running, light bulbs are eco friendly. Living room has a kick ass theater system, house is secured with Brinks, all appliances in the house are for everyone to use.

House was finished in Jan 2008, it’s 1364sq ft, 3/2, 1 car garage, has a nice size back yard.

About me; I'm 31, I have and undergrad in Information Technology from Georgetown University. I served in the Navy for 8 yrs. I moved to SA from Miami (originally from) in Aug of 07. I'm an IT manager in the Medical Center. I'm laid back, very cultured and easy to get along with. I work late a lot, and I travel about four months out of the year.

About you; Just pay the rent and utilities on time, treat the house like it's your own, and be mindful and respectful. That's not too much to ask 8-)

I might had forgotten more house details, but come by and see it and see if you like it. I will be doing background checks too.

I don't know about pets, I had a rottweiler that passed away in November, but it's something to discuss.

The pictures are a year old and the neighborhood has only two open lots left. Neighbors are military or ex-military most are young and good people.
