Hello future roommate =) ( Okay, so I am being hopeful )

I am renting a room in my 3 bedroom house. It is located about 10 minutes outside of Kalamazoo between Plainwell and Richland, about 2 miles from Lake Doster at East Baseline and 1st St. The house is 10 minutes from Plainwell, 15 minutes from Kalamazoo, 25 minutes from Battle Creek, and 45 minutes from Grand Rapids. It is available for immediate occupancy as of Dec 1st. My current roommate moved to be closer to work.

The house is in a private and mostly secluded spot on 6 acres. There is a pond and river going through the back yard. There are lots of trees. It is very peaceful.

The house has 2 bathrooms, washer, dryer, fireplace, dishwasher. There is a two story garage/barn. Parking would be in the driveway. The house is furnished. There is a bed in the room being rented. Bring your own furniture or I can store it.

Rent is $350 a month with a $350.00 deposit. Utilities included are water, heat, electric, and trash. You are responsible for your own long distance phone calls. I would be willing to get direct TV or with a roommate.

I am pretty open minded people and accepting of different ideas, beliefs, cultures, etc.. As far as around the house, I just ask for the general help in keeping the place clean. Your room is your business. I am an Asst. Manager in retail. I work a lot and I am at home at night mostly. I am looking for a roommate who can be friends too. The person I am looking for should be honest, trust worthy, reliable and dependable roommate. Bills must be paid on time. I don’t mind if you have friends over or wish to entertain. If you are a smoker, it must be outside. No drugs.
