We recently acquired the remaining inventory of Jewelry cleaner from the recently closed Uffenbeck's store in Appleton WI. This 3 generation store sold only fine jewelry ( no junk or costume ). This product sold for $26.00 per jar.

The directions on the 4 ounce bottle state "Do not use on pearls. Immerse jewelry in cleaner for two minutes. This product formulated to clean all types of fine gold and silver jewelry."

Our personal observations: We just begun to use the product ourselves. It is definitely strong, so I do not use it on anything that I might think will dissolve, peal, "lift", or pit. I used it on some heavy gold plated items and they really sparkled. I also used it on some really funky pierced earrings I had picked up at a rummage sale and the "funk" dissolved immediately.

It is really surprising how jewelry can appear perfectly clean until it is cleaned in this solution and you realize that the jewelry really wasn't clean!!! Jewelry collects makeup, dirt, perfume, smoke, and other pollutants. A good cleaning can make a beautiful piece look almost new!

There is a nice screened, plunging, tray, to hold your item while soaking. There are little clips to hold smaller items from falling into the bottle. The solution can be re-used many times.

This is NOT the cheap watered down stuff from the discount department stores!
