For Sale: Restored 1984 VW Rabbit GTI with 239k on the car. A3 bottom end installed with 56k on it. The tranny and top end was reconditioned as well and has about 6k on it. The motor and tranny run and feel strong. Other performance mods include. Autotech exhaust system from cat back, ABD cold air intake, A2 throttle body, and a ported and polished intake manifold. Of course the old air box trick. Also, contains Neuspeed lowering springs, upper and lower stress bars for the front and back, and tokico gas shocks. The interior is in pristine condition. No cracks or fading. I installed leather scirocco seats in the front. The originals are included in the sale and are in good condition as well. The car has a Vapor Blue paint that looks excellent. GTI wheels are on the car now but also included is a set of 17" wheels. An alpine head unit with i pod connectivity which allows you to operate the ipod from the head unit, Boston Acoustics interior speakers, Lanzar amplifier, and an MTX 10" sub in a custom box. All is included in the sale but is negotiable if you're looking to drop the price. This is a fun reliable vehicle that would serve well as a daily driver, summer fun car, or a show car.
