I have had a terrific response doing the tube screamer mods. Thank you to everyone that has had me mod there pedal/pedals.

I'm going to keep the deal going for $50 on the tube screamer modifications. I will take your reissue TS-808, TS9, TS-5, TS9DX, TS7, Maxon OD9, Maxon OD-808 and mod it to an original TS-808. Now read the rest of this long ad, because I'm not just doing the TS-808 Modification, I'm adding over $100 worth of mods here. just to promote my pedal mods. These original pedals are going for $500 to $700 I will make it an identical circuit of the original TS-808. In addition to that modification I will do a modification that will take the midrange hump out of the pedal. By that I mean after the mod you will be able to use the tone knob to take that honk out if you wish, or keep it in there if that is the tone you prefer at times. It also adds a nice bottom to the pedal (more Bass), that the TS-808 could never get. But keep in mind with your tone knob you will always be able to get the original TS-808 tone, you just have to turn the tone knob. In addition to that modification I will also do a modification that will give you less drive/more drive, when you turn your drive down, this is a great mod because it makes your pedal now a sweet clean boost that doesn't color your tone, and you will get richer more flavorfull harmonics. This modification also gives you more gain when you turn it up. But this modification still keeps the original values of the Stock Vintage TS-808 it just gives you more gain when turned up all the way and gives you more options, and it's a more usable pedal. I only use the best quality parts for these mods, the original JRC4558D OP-AMP or you have the option of the RC4558P OP-AMP Stevie Ray Vaughn had his Tube screamers modded that's how he got the tone, an original TS-808 will not get his tone, these mods I do will get his tone for you. I only use the highest quality metal film resistors, and carbon resistors that cut out noise, these cost five times as much as other resistors, but it's worth it. Same with the capacitors and diodes. only top quality. Now I know to get these pedals modded like this, you have to send it out to two different places. These mods will cost you $78.00 to send it out to have the first half modified, and an additional $56.00 to have the second half modified, plus shipping. For an extra $5 I will give you both OP-AMP chips, the JRC4558D and the TI RC4558P and install an IC socket that will let you change these Chips in a matter of 5 minutes or less , just pop one chip out and snap the other one in, . Now you have one more option, and bright blue LED for $5. Drop the pedal off and pick it up the next day. If you like good sound like I do, you have to have this modded pedal on your board. I also have a lot of top brand OD pedals you can A/B with and see how superior this pedal is after the mod, and hear what it sounds like A/B'd before the mod.
