The Center for Literacy is currently seeking to fill its part time ESL Teacher Position.

Responsibilities:
• Instruct 3 ESL class with an average daily attendance of 15 learners per class.
• Develop/Deliver curriculum that is contextualized to learners’ lives and goals.
• Plan and prepare ESL learner appropriate lessons.
• Assist learners with activities related to their individual language and job related goals.
• Assess learners with standardized and informal tools
• Maintain individual portfolios on all learners
• Provide class data in a timely manner
• Participate in ESL team activities
• Perform all duties related to administration and reporting.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with English as Second Language learners.
• Strong written, communication and organizational skills
• Computer literate

Salary: $12-$14.36 per hour

Schedule/Location: Monday and Wednesday 10-12:30pm in Upper Darby
Monday and Wednesday 5-7:30pm in a South Philadelphia Library
Tuesday and Thursday 4:30-7pm at Darby Library
