POSITION SUMMARY: Eagle Systems seeks full-time Biomedical Equipment Technicians to work on USAMMA/AMEDD projects at the following locations:

•Hill Air Force Base, Utah = Job Opening ID# J8271

•Defense Depot, San Joaquin, CA = Job Opening ID# J8CR06

SCOPE: Uses traditional engineering expertise to analyze and solve problems regarding the design, development,

and safety testing of biomedical equipment. Serves as the principal action officer for maintenance related

acquisition support, fielding, and sustainment of medical laboratory equipment, contact patient monitoring

systems, and digital imaging/radiographic equipment.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

•Excellent communications skills, both verbally and in writing.

•Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

•Data entry and computer software experience.

•Professional experience in dealing with clients and/or customer service.

•Ability to speak, read, and understand English.

•Ability to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances in compliance with government regulations and requirements.

•Familiar with the biomedical maintenance field and its concepts, practices, and procedures.

•Familiar with U.S. Army acronyms.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

•Bachelor’s degree in area of specialty and/or the equivalent combination of training, experience, and education.

•Minimum of four years’ directly related experience in the biomedical field.

•Ability to obtain and maintain an applicable security clearance.

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:

•A.A.S. in Medical Equipment Technology and/or graduate of DoD Medical Equipment Repairers Course.

•Advanced degree in area of specialty.

•More than six years of directly related experience.

•Technical certifications relating to position requirements.

•Proven technical writing skills.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED AT HILL AIR FORCE BASE:

•Experience as a biomedical technician at Hill Air Force Base.

•Experience performing biomedical equipment maintenance and repair on Army and/or Air Force Medical Equipment.

•Experience performing maintenance cycles on Medical Equipment Sets that have returned from deployments and/or have been in long-term storage facilities.

•Experience performing technical inspections of new, used or reconditioned Army and/or Air Force medical equipment.

•Experience with medical equipment overhaul.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED AT DEFENSE DEPOT SAN JOAQUIN:

•Experience as a biomedical technician at Defense Depot San Joaquin.

•Experience performing biomedical equipment maintenance and repair on Army Medical Equipment.

•Experience performing maintenance cycles on Medical Equipment Sets that have returned from deployments and/or have been in long-term storage facilities.

•Experience performing technical inspections of new, used or reconditioned Army medical equipment.

•Experience with medical equipment overhaul.
