Houston Section 8 Housing Program explained:

If a client has been in Section 8 housing for 1 year or more and has a 620+ credit score,

then Section 8 will pay 60% of their mortgage for 15 years.

Purchase/Sales Price limit: $130,000.00

If credit score is below 620, Section 8 will enter them into the FSS Program (Family Self

Sufficiency) which is a credit repair program.
