Greetings~ I'm Nikki and I have a room to rent in an AMAZING apartment right next to downtown Portland. The rent is $500 a month with shared utilities and internet ($250 deposit) and is available January 1st, though I will gladly wait til the beginning of February to find the right roommate. ABOUT THE APARTMENT. The apartment has a lot of character (built in 1909, made out of brick, hardwood floors, stone stairs up to apartment) and has an amazing view of downtown Portland. The apartment is located right next to PSU, just across I-405 on SW Cardinell- so easy walking distance to the StreetCar and downtown and easy access to the Freeway. Big living room. Bathroom is normal size. Kitchen is a bit cozy and has a dishwasher. Everyone in the building shares a coin-operated washer dryer, but there are only a total of 6 apartments so having conflicting times with someone else for the washer/dryer doesn't occur too often. The room itself is a normal size room, has 2 closets, window, and there is only street parking available. ABOUT YOU. Qualities I'm looking for in a roommate: respectful, clean, laid back, pays bills on time, creative, fun. I want to rent the room to someone who can have the rent on time without fail. Other Qualities you possess. Someone who is mindful and respectful of others and their things. Gay/Straight friendly. It would be ideal if you were an artist/activist/writer/creative person however not necessary. ABOUT ME. I'm 29 years old and am an artist. I work full time at an accounting firm downtown Portland. I enjoy the balance of alone time at home and a night with friends, food, music and wine. I'm not into drama. I like a serene and peaceful living environment. My diet is on the vegetarian side if you'd like to use that term ;) I love to laugh and enjoy world culture. So reply if you think we'd be a good fit to be roommates, if you have any questions feel free to ask, and make sure you tell me a bit about yourself, what you do, etc - enough to give me a good sense of who you are.
