Polaris Sportsman X2 500 EFI 4x4 ATV

This is a 2007 Polaris Sportsman X2 500 EFI 4x4. It is a liquid cooled, 4-stroke, fuel injected monster of an ATV with a fully automatic transmission. The transmission has high and low range as well as reverse and Park (something very few ATVs have, and very handy in the back of your pickup). It has four wheel independent suspension and on-demand 4 wheel drive meaning that when you need 4x4 you only have to flip a switch. When you don't need it you can turn it off and save gas as well as do your power slides (and believe me it will do them). Additionally the engine braking of a Sportsman is very good.
The Polaris also has a speedometer with a digital display that shows hours, miles, trip-meter, 4x4 vs 4x2, and a tachometer. In addition, it has a digital fuel gauge. It can also be programmed to give you reminders when it is due for maintenance. It also has a 12 volt accessory outlet for a spotlight, cell phone charger, etc. Racks on both ends are standard, it has full floor boards instead of pegs and this is one of the most powerful ATVs in the 500 class. In my opinion, this one of the nicest 4x4s available today.

What makes the X2 one of the most versatile ATVs on the planet is described below.
It features:

An extended wheel base making it safe to haul heavy cargo or a rear seat passenger without fear of flipping backwards.
Rear dump bed with tailgate for hauling dirt, gravel, mulch etc.
Convertible rear seat. Fold it down for cargo hauling and up for the second rider.
Second rider comfort. On top of the rear seat, the X2 also features rear passenger hand holds and elevated floor boards just for them.
Unlockable rear differential. This is something all ATVs should have. Not only can you switch between 4x2 and 4x4 mode, you can also select a “turf” mode which allows you to unlock the rear differential. This prevents it from tearing up grass when in your yard. It is very nice.

This machine is in excellent used condition. It has only 938 original miles and 108 engine hours. To put that in perspective, Polaris does not recommend the first oil change until 100 hours.

The engine is perfect and fires immediately as soon as you turn the key. The fuel injection truly makes for instant starts in any weather.
