This is my 2001 Suzuki Bandit 1200, a great bike in terrific shape, with a lot of brand new or very new parts. I'm putting it up for sale because I just moved and I have no place to keep the bike any more.

The bike is in excellent running shape. It gets off the line very quickly, but even better is its performance at the high end from 80-120. I have personally had the bike up to 135 mph, with some room to spare. The engine runs smooth and strong, with no problems of any kind that I can tell. This is more accurately a sport cruiser, and the balance, feel, and ride of the bike is a little more upright and very comfortable.

The bike is in excellent condition as well. There are no tears of any kind in the seats. There are no scratches on the tank and all the fairings on the bike are brand new. The bike was also just outfitted with a brand new Yoshimura exhaust. The battery is brand new and the front tire is brand new; the back tire has about 500 miles on it. The chain is brand new, only about 150 miles on it. This bike really does not have the wear and tear you might expect from a 2001; it had only one owner before me who kept it garaged and traded it in. I purchased it at a reputable used bike dealership.

There is a small scratch on the engine block on the lower right side, and the right side of the handlebar has a small kink in it.

When you ride the bike, the front fairing does tend to bounce around quite a bit, which makes looking in the rear view mirrors a challenge on bumpy roads; the front fairing may need to be re-adjusted, although I have spoken to some other Bandit owners and this seems to be normal.

As I said, it does not have the wear and tear you would expect in a 2001, but the pipes on the bottom do have some discoloration, and the rims and chain guard could use some scrubbing. It's in great condition, but it is used, after all -- it's not in mint condition.

All in all, I'll be sad to see this go.
