This is as awesome as a GEM car can get. Yamaha R6 engine had 2000 miles of use when it was donated to this project. All other parts are made or used from GEM car or Honda pilot. Car has forward reverse capabilities and a standard transmission. A floor foot pedal was made and incorporated into the factory motorcycle clutch. You have all 6 gears in forward and reverse but reverse has a considerably lower gear ratio. Not sure on top speed but at 60 to 70 mph the car drives awesome and has a lot more to go. Engine makes enough power to do burn outs but do not recommend because the rear end is not meant to be abused. The shift lever is located between the seats and shifts 1 down and 5 up just like on the bike. Car has 20 inch on road rims and tires but can simply be change to ATV off road tires. Air bags at 4 corners allow you to three wheel the car but the car is pretty light so three wheeling is difficult but lays out on its engine pan just fine. Air bags were not cheap, purchased with rebound adjustability for better ride control. Factory GEM car frames are aluminum so this is why it is light. Paint and interior are all in nice shape but do show slight wear.
