I have 3 dogs that are currently in my care right now. This is mostly directed to anyone who is in reasonable distance of Greeley that is looking for a pup to join their family.First, there is Penny the basset hound. Penny came to us a few weeks ago. We contacted the rescue that we work with and she technically belongs to them now, but we agreed to foster her. A few non-english speaking kids in the neighborhood dropped her off at my front door. I think they thought she belonged to us because we already have a basset hound...but they couldn't understand me when I told them that she's not our dog. I posted fliers, reported her to the humane society and posted an ad on craigslist for her....but nothing came out of it....No one has claimed her. I took her to the vet, to get her examined and updated on shots (I didn't want my own dogs to come down with anything). So, she's perfectly healthy and current for shots for awhile...which is great! The vet said that she is close to 2 years old and she's spayed. I have a 6 month old and she LOVES on him all the time...and she's a huge cuddle bug. There's nothing wrong with this dog, AT ALL...she's even housebroken! I wish we could keep her but we already have 2 dogs of our own and we live in a small condo with a small yard. Poor girl just deserves better.
Now for the other 2 puppies. I am fostering 10 week old lab-wheaten terrier mixes. I have a boy and a girl. They're typical puppies: love to be played with, outgoing, curious and they love to be cuddled. Ideally, the rescue would like to see them placed together; however, they don't need to be. They have their first set of shots and they have been dewormed.
