i write my own music. chances are it won't sound traditional to your ears. in other words, its not metal-screamo-punk-core or whatever kids are calling it these days.

i'm looking for an established band or other musicians who intentionally avoid imitating or staying within a "safe" sound.

bands i enjoy:

joy division, unwound, radiohead, [old] kings of leon, sigur ros, blood brothers, the kills etc.
