Very strong motor - still runs very strong and is still pretty quick but... The bad: Fails emissions (May need catalytic converter and / or O2 sensors), Needs new water pump, Paint is fading & minor bumper damage (as shown in the pic) The good: Gets excellent gas mileage at around 25-28mpg ($20 lasts all week) Clean, Non-smoker, New front disc-brakes / rotors, New passenger side rear bearing & drum brake rebuild, Clutch replaced only approx 2yrs ago.. hey, i am trying to sell my 96 jetta gl 2.0 5spd runs and drived great with no problems baught another car so i need this one gone. this car was well taken care of, clean exterior followed with clean interior. Car has some mods done such as,17" black enkie wheels,cat-back exhaust,shaved grill,tinted light all around except headlights,oil pressure,temp,volt gauges,, interior trim was painted black., pasonic headunit with all hook-ups. car aslo has tinted windows lots of new parts went into this car to get it where it is now.. here is the list of stuff that has been replaced withing the last month... battery,starter,cooling housing,gaskets,heater hoses,air filter,hub bearing assembly.clutch was replaced about 6 months ago.. car needs nothing,except wheel alignment and exhaust clamp.. there is currently no inspection but ti will pass no problem,haven't had the car registered thats why,, I got this car on a trade from a friend for a eclipse.
