Up for sale is a 1985 Mercury Grand Marquis. I bought this car for my grandmother to replace her Grand Marquis that threw a rod. She decided she didn't want it and wants something smaller. I literally drove this car about 1 mile since I bought it then I parked it and there it sits. It starts and drives just fine. The brakes need to be bled but otherwise they seem fine. The motor is 302 Carbeurated - same as a Mustang - with ~79K original miles. The motor will need valve cover gaskets installed - I have them. The current gaskets leak. This is probably a $75 repair (at most) from a shop or a quick fix at home. The interior is not in great shape but it's factory leather and LOADED with options - everything works on the interior. This is a Silver Star Limited Edition #96. The Brake Lights do NOT work but this is most likely due to the stoplight switch on the brake pedal. The Flashers/Hazards don't work but this could easily be the fuse relays (~$5 ea). See more used 1985 Mercury Grand Marquis Sedans

1985 Mercury Grand Marquis 62K Miles Power Windows AC Works Great Auto 5.0L V8 This car is in incredible shape for its age it has a few minor surface rust spots all of which could be sanded and touched up. The engine fires right up and runs excellent tranny shifts smooth and strong. Interior is in as close to mint condition as it gets. All trim and chrome in excellent shape no pitting or wear. All options work even has working air conditioning. The headliner is perfect I will be waxing the outside and cleaning the interior and will be updating pictures. Muffler needs to be replaced and possibly front rotors or the rotors should be turned. Other than that nice classic car would look great with a nice set of wheels. Call 585-520-XXXX for details! i have a 1985 mercury grand marquis ls for sale it has 89 350 miles on it that are original and the exterior is gorgous the landau top will need to be replaced because its a 1985 and has one spot of rust on the left front wheel well which is an easy fix the interior is in good shape it does not have a stereo but the air works. THE BAD it needs a new 02 sensor in order to pass emissions and a good tune up and a new battery the back windows do not roll down but the motors both work so i think its just the window cables that are shot i think its all original it does need some work to get it to pass but the car does run beautifully when the battery is charged basicly i dont have the time money or energy to put into it and it just sits which is not good on it plus i have another car and a van so its just sitting in the driveway the price is pretty fair and somewhat negotiable with the mileage and the shape of the car so if you want a nice big car that is nice riding and comfortable then give me a call or email me See more used 1985 Mercury Grand Marquis Cars
