I am selling my 1997 Civic due to me not needing it anymore. I am asking $2900 for the car, but this price is negotiable. It has about 164K miles on it. This car is a 5 speed. I bought the car almost 2 years ago because I lived in such a rural area, I needed a small gas saver. It takes about $22 to fill up the tank, and will ride between 360-410 miles per tank. This is a great little car. AC works really well. I have replaced the timing belt at about 157000 (I have the exact mileage in the car). Oil has been changed regularly. The distributor, plugs, and wires are all new. Has a new fuel filter installed. Also, it has new tires, with about 2000 miles on them. Has a Panasonic Cd player with new Sony X-plod speakers. Only problem with the car is I hit a small dog over the Summer and it cracked the front air dam. (See photo below). Also, if you use STANDARD power steering fluid in the reservoir, it tends to leak out within about 2 weeks. I have had no leaks when using Lucas power steering fluid. hey guys, i think it's finally time to let go of my baby for 2 years. She's a 1997 Honda Civic DX Hatch with a transplanted B18C JDM ITR heart that sings like no other engine! CLEAN TITLE! Spent 2-2.5 months scouring honda-tech everyday and finally tracked down this baby in Chicago, IL. It was love at first sight really. Once I saw her, I had to get her. But now that I'm done with school here (yay!) it's time to leave and I'm going to let her go. I regularly track her every other month or so at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit north of Tulsa. 1997 Honda Civic EX 2-door I am selling my custom 1997 Honda Civic EX. This car was originally owned by a personal friend, who blew the engine (and never properly maintained the vehicle). I bought the car several years back, after being in an accident with my personal car, a 1994 Acura Integra. I had envisioned a custom Civic/Integra hybrid vehicle and this was the result. I restored the Civic by replacing everything necessary or that could result in problems. Ultimately the project launched out of control, turning into one crazy vehicle. I finished the car in December 08 and one month later, moved out of state. Since, I have driven the vehicle daily to work and around town, enjoying every second.
