vintage genuine Boy Scout 2 quart canteen and cover

For sale is a vintage Boy Scout 2 quart aluminum canteen with cover. This is a genuine Boy Scout item with the logo on the canteen and the cover. This has seen many fun trips as seen by the water stains and is ready for many more. This canteen is in very good condition but The snaps work a little hard, some lubrication will solve that, and the cover is soiled from years in the dusty basement or attic. The canteen itself is sound but scraped up with a couple dents which is normal. I didn't clean this because I know some collectors don't want things cleaned. You can wash the cover carefully but put it on the canteen wet before it can shrink. This cover has a name on it, G. Fiedler.
