Mercedes-Benz redesigned their M Class for 2007 M Class, making it 5.9 inches longer and 2.8 inches wider than the 2006 model. It continues to employ a unibody chassis, and still retains the large three-pointed star in the grille and the reverse sloped C pillar from the previous generation. larger wheel flares, a more steeply raked windshield, and a more defined shoulder line are some of the visual changes from the previous body style.

There are four engines from which to choose. Carried forward from last year are a 3.5L V6 that produces 268 horsepower and a 5.0L V8 that creates 302 horsepower. New for the 2007 model year are a 3.0L turbo-diesel V6 engine and an AMG-tuned 6.3L V8. Standard in all models is the new smooth-shifting seven-speed automatic. Adding two more... see more
