2007 Lexus LX Review

The 2007 Lexus LX470 has a powerful 4.7L DOHC 32-valve V8 engine mated to a five-speed electronically controlled transmission. It also comes with an adaptive variable suspension that allows the driver to have either soft or firm ride settings. The result is a powerful SUV that is both smooth and quiet. The LX470 has full-time four-wheel drive and an adjustable ride height that raises and lowers the vehicle as many as four inches, which allows for improved off-road performance. As such, the LX470 is one of the most capable full-size SUVs on the market.

The LX470 comes well equipped with luxury items. The interior has standard leather seating, heated power front bucket seats, a steering wheel trimmed in wood and leather, an outside temperature display, HomeLink, front automatic climate control, rear manual climate control, a DVD navigation system, and maple wood trim. It also comes standard with a power moonroof, illuminated running boards, off headlights, and power folding heated mirrors with memory.

The LX470 comfortably seats up to eight people. A Mark Levinson audio system features a six-disc CD player and 11 speakers. Safety equipment includes standard frontal air bags, front seat mounted side air bags, and rain adjusting windshield wipers. The LX470 can tow up to 6,500 pounds.
The 2007 Lexus LX470 now has revised horsepower and torque numbers and an optional Limited Package. The Limited package includes 18-inch alloy wheels, chrome door handles, a chrome beltline accent, a chrome exhaust tip, unique floor and cargo mats, color-coded scuff plates, and black maple wood interior trim.
