For years the M45 was the forgotten Infiniti. The Q45 attracted the luxury sedan buyers, while the I20 and G35s were snapped up by the entry-level luxury car shoppers. The model was redesigned for 2006 when Infiniti added a six-cylinder M35 in either rear- or all-wheel drive and sport versions of both the potent M45 and the satisfying M35. The Sport trim revised the suspension, added unique wheels and an adaptive front xenon lighting system, placed climate controls in the seats, and added an enhanced steering wheel with multiple controls. The same lineup remains for 2007.

The M35 continues to use a 275-horsepower 3.5L V6 that should be ample for most drivers, while the M45 employs a 325-horsepower V8.Both engines utilize a five-speed automatic transmission with a manual... see more
