Buick's 2007 Terraza CX starts at $26,660 and has goodies like StabiliTrak, traction control, heated power exterior mirrors, plus a CD player that reads MP3 files. If that's not enough toys, move up to the $28,000 Terraza CX Plus, which adds power sliding doors, automatic level control, a power driver's seat, dual-zone climate control, an overhead rail system, and a DVD-based entertainment system. The top-of-the-line CXL is equipped with aluminum wheels, roof rails, leather power front seats with memory, rear air conditioning, a universal home remote, side air bags, and a number of enhanced storage features.
All Terrazas are equipped with a four-speed automatic transmission that shifts quite smoothly, and front-wheel drive. Acceleration is good, and the braking, thanks to four-wheel discs, is exceptional. The formerly optional 3.9L V6 engine replaces the 3.5L V6 that has been available since the Terraza's 2005 debut. In addition to gasoline, the Terraza can operate on FlexFuel for 2007.
The interior of the Terraza is terrifically done, with handsome instrumentation and controls. The ride is extremely quite, and very smooth.
A remote vehicle starter is one of the nicer available options. It is joined by XM radio, a six-disc CD changer, chrome wheels, rear parking assist, and navigation. A trailering package can be added as well, which allows the Terraza to haul 3,500 pounds. The CXL can order a mobile digital media player by PhatNoise, which includes a 40-gigabyte hard drive that can store digital music, audio books, movies, and games.
The Buick Terraza gets a new standard engine for 2007. Last year's 213-horsepower 3.5L V6 has been replaced by the optional 240-horsepower 3.9L V6 engine from 2006. OnStar has been upgraded with Turn-by-Turn capability. There are new eight-spoke 17-inch wheels and a FlexFuel capable engine that uses E85 ethanol is optional. All Terrazas use front-wheel drive, which is new for 2007. Also, an intermediary CX Plus trim has been added.

The Terraza minivan shares platforms and components
with the Chevrolet Uplander, Pontiac Montana SV-6, and Saturn Relay vans -- but
has Buick-specific styling cues and features. For 2007, the seven-passenger
Terraza loses its formerly available all-wheel-drive system and is offered in
front-drive form only -- and in just two trim levels, CX and CXL. On the upside,
a 240 horsepower, 3.9-liter V-6 and four-speed automatic transmission are now
standard on all models. In addition, the Terraza now offers the latest version
of GM's OnStar communication system with "turn by turn" navigation assistance.
There are also three new exterior colors -- Light Quartz Metallic, Polar Blue
Metallic, and Gold Mist Metallic. An E-85/flex-fuel version of the 3.9-liter
engine will reportedly become available later during the model year. Both CX and
CXL trims come standard with GM's StabiliTrak electronic stability control
system, low-speed traction control, four-wheel-disc brakes with ABS, and 17-inch
wheels. Leather seating with first- and second-row captain's chairs, a
flat-folding 50/50-split rear seat, DVD entertainment system, XM satellite
radio, and side-impact and curtain air bags are among the major options.
