Dated by contemporary standards, Pontiac 's smallest coupe remains a relatively sporty little car for buyers on a budget. It comes powered by a 140-horsepower, 2.2-liter four-cylinder that drives the front wheels via either a five-speed-manual or a four-speed-automatic transmission that includes traction control. Air conditioning, an AM/FM-cassette stereo, and a rear defroster are included, with front side airbags, the OnStar communications system and various audio systems - including XM satellite radio - available. For 2005, a choice of four new exterior colors is offered, and an optional Sport Appearance Package includes 16-inch chrome wheels with performance tires, a sport suspension and assorted appearance tweaks.
