Ok, as for what I like to do; I'm a poet/songwriter, musician, romantic, cat person, and pretty damn good in the kitchen (among other places!), i love to cook. I love live music, as well as flea markets, the beach, anywhere in the great outdoors, and chillin on the couch with a good movie or a good book. I'm also into tattoos and piercings.

As to who I am...well, I'm still trying to figure that one out myself. I'm part (and proud to be) Native American. Mohican, from long line of healers, which results in me having certain 'gifts', which I won't go into here. Suffice it to say I rely pretty heavily on intuition and feeling about someone or something, even when logic would dictate otherwise.

I'm also highly tuned in to nature, which was a point of admiration and envy among some Wiccan friends. I'm the one who can be walking through the yard, suddenly stop, reach down and pluck a four leaf clover from a field of clover. I also love walking out in the woods, because I can really tune in to the 'emotion', or feel, of the area I'm in. I find a lot of peace in nature, as well as a closer connection to my Creator.

Creativity is a major driving force in my life. While I'm loathe to call myself an artist, I suppose I really am one. Passion and intensity go into most evertything I'm doing, be it cooking, writing, playing music (I'm a bass player), my job, volunteer work (yes, creativity can be brought to bear in helping others), projects around the house, etc... Passion is life, to me. Without it, the world would be a mundane place indeed.

When it comes to discussions about politics and social issues, I shy away from public opinion or hype, preferring to make my own informed and conscientious decisions. If I don't know much about a given topic, then I bow out of the conversation, but I will continue to listen so I can at least get one side of the story. Being informed is one reason I love to read so much. On my bedside table you're likely to find a textbook or science journal, along with a copy of The Hobbit, or The Crystal Cave, or one of the Dragonriders of Pern books...I also do mystery, suspense, horror, vampires, ad infinitum. If it's a good read, I'm in it.

Cats, man, cats! I'm all about the feline friends who travel with us. Dogs, eh,I can take em or leave em, but cats are my familiars, my confidants, my friends.

I guess I should put out there that I'm not into sports. I tolerate them, and I will go out to a game, but you have to buy the tix. I just don't have enough interest in the whole thing to waste my life sitting for hours on the couch watching other people playing. I would rather be out playing myself. If you're into sports, cool. Glad you found something you enjoy. Understand, though, it's just not my bag'o'bones. Never has been, never will be. Period.

I'll leave things at that for now. You should have a fair picture of who I am, or at least what I'm about. If you're intrigued, very cool. Hit me up. I'm not really into formal occasions, but I do appreciate good taste. Anything from dinner at a nice restauraunt, to shooting pool, to checking out a local band to grabbing coffee works for me. Actually, I prefer a casual atmosphere for a first date, it's just more relaxing and easier for folks to really be themselves. I think I should mention that I don't drink, but if you like wine with dinner, or drinks when you go out, I have no problem with that. Cheers!
