Situation
Towranna Farmhouse is set at the end of a 500 meter long drive in a secluded setting. There are a range of outbuildings comprising a Suffolk Barn, stabling and cart lodges to the rear of the property. This particularly attractive area of countryside is gathered around tributaries of the River Blyth. The nearby hamlet of Huntingfield is equidistant between Halesworth, Peasenhall and Fressingfield, which are about five miles away and between them provide day to day services, with a wider range of shopping, educational and recreational facilities at a choice of attractive Suffolk towns. Access to the A12 is about 8 miles and there are train services to London's Liverpool Street Station from Halesworth, Diss or Ipswich.
Description
Towranna Farmhouse is believed to date back to the 17th Century and is built of timber frame with rendered elevations under pitched tiled roofs. Internally there are numerous features including exposed timbers, open fireplaces and views over the gardens and surrounding countryside beyond. The house does require modernisation and we understand the house is not listed. The barns lend themselves to a variety of different uses subject to planning permission. The garden surround the house with numerous trees, two ponds and outbuildings.
