JDSU has an opportunity for a stellar Software Engineer interested in full lifecycle development for our Indianapolis, Indiana site. You will be a part of: Requirements - Design - Implementation - Test - Release - Maintenance
Requirement definition - work with Marketing and the customer to define the feature
Design - both individual and team based designs that vary from low level measurements to higher level applications
Implementation - Assembly/C/C++/Java as the languages, Perforce for CM, Clearquest for issue tracking
Test - class, module, unit, integration testing. The developer also goes into the field to do alpha and beta testing with the customer in real world environments
Release - Managing revisions through development along with a formal release at the end
Maintenance - most of the development is platform based so support is key to ensure a satisfactory release.
Research - Analyze, review and design new algorithms to solve customer problems. This person will help to bridge the theory of the algorithm and signal analysis into practical application and feasibility of design and implementation
