Title: Tableau Administrator/Developer - W2 Only Location: Remote Length: Long term Restriction: W2 only Description: Interview Type: Skype *** Very long term project expect to go for 4+ years ***W2 only *** ***Remote*** Description: Expert level Tableau exp to provide technical assistance to BI analysts as well as quality improvement advice to the team leader. Must be proficient in project management and prioritization with the ability to succeed as an independent developer. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Promotes the utilization of technical services to resolve business issues within the enterprise, agency, program area, or divisionProvides technical support on complex business intelligence projects and performs as a Subject Matter Expert in business or functional areaMay participate in strategic planning processes for ODA?s Data Visualization Business Intelligence teamAssists with developing technical standards and policies to meet the needs of customers, peers, and managementRecommends and facilitates quality improvement effortsMay serve as a project leader providing guidance, advice, supervision and or training to other analystsEstablishes and maintains strategic partnerships with data visualization based agencies to help them meet their business and technical needsCollaborates with Data Science Public HealthGeographics, Data Engineering, Data Management, Data Surveillance, Outreach& Equity, and Data Governance teams within ODAParticipates in the Business Intelligence Center of Excellence steering committee as it relates to data governance and visualization best practicesAssists Data Visualization Business Intelligence team with dashboard development as needed.The job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Required Skills: Tableau 4 Years2 years as Tablau administrator including server maintenanceSAS R, Python, etc. for data cleaning and automations 2 YearsDemonstrated experience with data manipulation, including cleansing, standardizing, and transforming 2 YearsSpecific and extensive knowledge of statistical software, open source programming languages, and database querying 2 YearsExperience in leading workshops or training sessions 2 YearsExceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem solving abilitiesAdvanced knowledge of the application of software engineering process toolsAdvanced knowledge of project management theories and practices and the ability to apply that knowledgeAbility to use logic and critical thinking to address issues efficiently and effectivelyAbility to understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem solving and decision makingFamiliarity with using and interpreting data structures and relationshipsAbility to understand how change management methodology aligns with and enhances project management and implementationEffectively communicate both orally and in writing.Possess at minimum a bachelor?s degree with 2+ years of experience (related certifications, trainings, professional work and or coursework)
