The Maintenance Craftsman is responsible for building and grounds painting tasks by performing the following duties: Job Duties: stylemargin:bottom:4.0px:: Grounds maintenance: snow removal, rubbish removal, recycle pickup.: Building maintenance: painting, equipment/furniture moves and set:ups.: Operate and utilize tools of the trade including some heavy equipment: General repairs and installation of structural components and materials: General labor assignments: Additional duties as assigned Requirements:stylemargin:bottom:4.0px:: High school or equivalent from an accredited school: Minimum of 3:5 years' experience in general commercial construction (painting): Knowledge of some of the following skills: Drywall, tile, carpentry, masonry, concrete, painting, reading prints and diagrams, tools of the trade.: Demonstrates good communication skills and has the ability to work in a team environment and independently: Strong dependability: Problem:solving skills: Customer focused: Basic math, reading and comprehension skills: Willing to work overtime including weekends, holidays and call:ins: Considered a plus:stylelist:style:type:circle:: Snowplowing experience : Previous chemical plant experience or knowledge of chemical hazards: Formal technical/trade schools or certifications: Computer skills: Previous experience in a team:based work environment Physical Demands:stylemargin:bottom:4.0px::Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch.:Lifting up to 100 pounds.:Working on ladders, lifts, pipe racks and in confined spaces.:Wearing all required personal protective equipment.Ready for your next career step?
