The Role We are seeking a successful Portfolio Operations Associate who brings attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a growth mindset to this critical role. You will have strong communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset that excels in a fast-paced and evolving organization. You are coachable, and have a willingness to learn our approach to portfolio administration, trade reconciliation and execution, and perform at a high level under variable workloads. You will report to the Managing Director, Partner in charge of portfolio management. #LI-Hybrid What You'll Do Daily reconciliation of portfolio positioning, trade execution and cash management across all client portfolios Implement investment and trades strategies for client accounts Performance reporting on a monthly and ad hoc basis Assist advisors in the preparation of client recommendations and proposals Work with the trade team internally and at the custodial level to execute portfolio updates Security due diligence Work with other teams including Client Service, Compliance, Marketing, and Operations Project-based initiatives related to process improvement and implementing new strategies What You'll Bring 2 years' experience in Financial Services preferred Series 7 and 66 licenses are a requirement Investment, Trading, or Portfolio Management related Experience desired Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Experience with Advent, Bloomberg, Black Diamond, Fidelity, and Salesforce desired Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills--- Team-oriented individual to support a growing advisory practice What We Offer Coverage on the first day of employment for medical, dental, and vision insurance 401k Matching Plan Student Loan Assistance Pet Insurance Flexible Benefits (FSA, Pre-tax transportation, HSA Employer Contributions) Hybrid work schedule Hightower Advisors - Our Story Founded in 2008, Hightower is a wealth management firm that provides investment, financial and retirement planning services to individuals, foundations, and family offices, as well as 401(k) consulting and cash management services to corporations.
