Communications Specialist II

Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced communications specialist. The core competencies should include creating engaging and effective web pages, reports, presentations, communications materials, basic HTML and project management skills including time management, organization, communication, and team management. The successful candidate will work closely with the pillar leaders to review, evaluate, update, purge digital content as well as migrate digital content from multiple existing platforms to one platform. They will create new content to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise and visually appealing manner. They will empower the organization by creating and managing internal online information publications and ensuring assigned programs are supported. Key Responsibilities Design and develop high-quality Google Sheets presentations, Google Docs reports and other visual materials, ensuring consistency, clarity and accuracy Collaborate with team members to understand content and translate it into simple yet engaging communication materials Develop and maintain a consistent and professional tone to all communications Create written content for business pillars to convey relevant information to stakeholders Provide basic HTML support by updating internal digital content and web based materials Collaborate with the IT team as needed Coordinate with stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary revisions and improve quality and effectiveness of materials Be able to move fast and translate business pillars communication needs on-the-go Apply proper project management skill set to assigned programs, tools and resources ensuring program execution Identify pain points and continuous improvement opportunities on assigned project or programs Requirements Demonstrated experience in presentation design, communication, or related field Proficiency in Google Suite Basic HTML skills Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail Strong collaboration, coordination and organizational skills Proficiency in basic project management skills Ability to work under deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks Passion for tactical tasks to empower others to be successful The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45 to $50/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
