We are looking for a life insurance agent with amazing customer service skills to join our fast-growing insurance agency and help our clients achieve their financial goals. You’ll serve on the front lines of insurance sales, helping new customers navigate our products, processing claims and inquiries, and developing an ever-growing lead list to secure new business. Responsibilities: • Ensure all contracting paperwork is up to date while maintaining databases, records, and bookkeeping• Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies• Evaluate new customers’ insurance needs, insurance risk, existing coverage, long-term goals, and financial status through consultations to create a tailored experience that exceeds expectations• Process current policyholders’ insurance claims while monitoring the status of existing insurance claims• Address existing and prospective customer requests in a prompt and friendly matter, including booking new meetings and responding to inquiries regarding billing, eligibility, coverage, claims, and insurance policies• Collaborate with policyholders to develop insurance risk management and other profiles that specify the best policies for their evolving insurance needs• Commit to remaining educated about the various types of insurance, insurance-related protocols, and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of program requirements and ensure our customers are satisfied• Serve as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients in order to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance sales• Offer personal attention when pursuing new clients through various marketing strategies to grow your existing portfolio of policyholders• Keep an accurate log of sales databases, client reports, bookkeeping records, and more to share progress toward goals with key stakeholders Qualifications: • Customer service or experience as a sales representative are highly valued• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite• Active Life & Health insurance license is a strong bonus• Background in the health insurance or life insurance industries preferred• Possesses outstanding interpersonal and communication skills• Self-motivated and hardworking Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 at plan earnings About Company: Our agency is looking to bring on multiple new agents with exceptional customer service experience to become a part of our independent insurance agency.
