Requirements Education and Experience: · MUST have a Certificate of Completion from an accredited MA, Medical Assistant Program or clinical training as a nurse· Only local applicants are being considered· Medical Office Experience and CMA status preferred· The ideal candidate would embody our philosophy of: "Giving of ourselves. . .so our patients receive the best care". Job Responsibilities: Front desk/ front office duties (scheduling patients, checking patients in and out, chart prep, collecting payments, answering phones, etc.) Assisting physicians and medical providers with pulmonary, sleep, allergy in office patient care (rooming patients, giving shots, spirometry, etc.) Performing Pulmonary Function Tests on patients (will train) Fulltime – 40 hours, weekdays Compensation and Benefits: $16.00 - $18.00 - commensurate with experience Health Insurance and FREE onsite healthcare for the employee (for conditions treated at St Francis).
