Posting End Date: 09/14/2023 Work Place Flexibility: Onsite Legal Entity: Entergy Services, LLC Seeking candidates interested in New Orleans, La and/or El Dorado, AR. JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: Develops long range outage plans and budgets, executes planned outages and large capital projects, supports the Condition Based Outage (CBO) process / Equipment Condition Documentation (ECD), and project management as needed at assigned plants. Manages outages in multiple states / locations dependent upon forecasted planned outage spending. Primary location will be at the Union Power Facility in El Dorado, AR and the Hot Springs Energy Facility in Hot Springs, AR. Location may also provide support to other Power Generating facilities in Fleet as need requires. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: : Oversees long range and detailed planning and execution of fossil unit outages: major project planning, scheduling and scoping: Manages safety, cost, schedule and quality processes for outage scopes of work. Interfaces with Plant Management personnel to communicate and drive to resolution of key issues impacting project / outage. Matrixed to Plant Managers at sites supporting. Coaches project managers as necessary to deliver expected financial, safety and schedule results. Mentors employees in the Power Generation Outage Planning Process and other project management principles. Implementation of maintenance strategy for major components working with SME group; coordinate with plant(s), SMEs and OEMs to ensure readiness of execution for those major projects: May be asked to be the point of contact for Region's ECD development and accuracy: Lead for Major Project (HGP / Major) Execution: Understands, negotiates, and influences contract language for vendors / contractors to protect Entergys best interest. AREAS Meeting Owner : could be asked to lead, perform pre: work and own action items to resolve outage schedules; capture lessons learned from previous outages and.
