This pivotal position oversees laboratory operations, enhancing diagnostic services to support superior patient care. Role and Responsibilities : ๐งช Supervise both technical and non-technical staff across various shifts. ๐ Develop and manage quality assurance programs, ensuring compliance with regulations. ๐ Optimize resource use in payroll, supplies, and operational costs. ๐ Lead team development and training, fostering a productive work environment. ๐ค Handle recruitment, conducting interviews and making hiring decisions. Qualifications : ๐ Required: Associate Degree in Science or as a Medical Laboratory Technician; Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology. ๐ Must have or be in the process of obtaining FL State Supervisor License. ๐ Certifications in 3 technical specialties and professional certifications from ASCP or AMT. โค๏ธ Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification. ๐งโ๐ฌ 5+ years experience in a medical technologist role within an acute care setting; supervisory experience is a plus.
