15% domestic and international travel required. Employer covers all travel costs. Job Requirements: Must have a PhD or foreign equivalent degree in Cancer Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or Biochemistry, plus 1 year of experience as a Fellow, Investment Analyst, or substantially similar position. Special Skills: 1 year of experience with: support due diligence of potential investment targets in the biomedical industry by assisting in research and data collection using freely available information on the internet; prepare materials and reports for internal investment committee meetings; screen business plans and evaluate investment proposals; support scientific and clinical data analysis by analyzing materials provided by companies, reading review articles, conducting analysis of primary scientific literature, identifying suitable key opinion leaders (KOLs) and conducting KOL calls; and evaluate IP and commercial landscapes by screening Google Patent database for existing patents and conducting background research to evaluate commercial landscapes.
