Due to ongoing success, they are currently seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. We are currently working with a leading manufacturing business based in Gravesend. Due to ongoing success, they are currently seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for creating new products for new and existing markets and redesign existing product ranges to meet customers’ evolving needs using CAD and CAE. You will respond creatively to new methods of attack and to new market challenges with your designs. You will be working as part of a diverse team on design, prototyping, troubleshooting / problem solving. You will contribute to the continuing evolution of the Technical department with your suggestions for improved ways of working. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate: Experience in Solid Works, PDM, and SAP Exceptional attention to detail A creative and innovative thinker, able to take a fresh approach to challenges Good work ethic, with the ability to remain productive and well-prioritised with minimalsupervision A strong team player and collaborator, who can listen and share ideas readily and workas part of a multi-talented team A responsible person with a keen eye for detail, quality and a ‘get it right first time’method A safe worker, who is mindful of Health and Safety for both self and colleagues This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business that can offer ongoing development and career progression.
