(We can consider Part-time as well as Full-time applicants) Position: Kitchen Manager Employer: 1327435 BC. Ltd. o/a Sushi Waa Term of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (Part-Time is also welcome)Position Available: 1Work location: #108-50 Tenth Street, Nanaimo, BC, V9R 6L1Salary: $17.50-$18.00/hr, based on 30-36 hr/wk Overtime: Overtime will be provided after 8hrs/day, 40hrs/wk Benefit: 4% paid vacation Work Setting: Japanese Restaurant Education: Completion of Secondary School Experience: 1-2 years of culinary work experience, or completion of a culinary program diploma. Language: English Job Description: - Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of restaurant staff - Establish methods to meet work schedules - Prepare food order summaries for chef - Ensure that food served, and service provided meet our restaurant standards - Ensure that the presentation of menus meet quality standard - Ensuring compliance to health and safety standards, COVID-19 Health and Safety Plan - Monitor inventories and order ingredients and supplies - Provide regular training for all restaurant staff in job duties, food production, sanitation and safety procedures - Resolve work-related problems Others: Position is open and available to underrepresented groups, such as Indigenous, New Immigrants, and Youths if candidates meet the above requirement.
